Where To Eat in Bali

One thing I was surprised to find in Bali was the amount of amazing places there were to eat and drink. Everyday I would try a new cafe, it became a hobby after awhile. I realized while I was trying all of these places I should at least compile a list for others so that's exactly what I did. I have over 100 places on my notes app now. I decided to go through and list my absolute favorites so let's take a look.

Cafes

Nude Cafe - Great Vibes and even better staff working here. I spent most of my mornings here editing enjoying a cappuccino. This was always my go-to when I really needed to get stuff done. Also no, nobody is actually nude here.

Cinta Cafe- Right off the Main Street which is easy to access however when you walk in you'll find an amazing few of a rice field. This is another busy spot in Canggu but rightfully so.

Greenhouse Cafe- This cafe is right next to Cinta Cafe and has the cutest sitting area with a pool in the middle. Grab a fresh coconut here and enjoy the atmosphere.

Satu Satu Cafe- The pancakes here were delicious, I really enjoyed going here also.

Lunch/Dinner Spots

La Vela- A cozy place right on the beach, this was my go-to in the mornings and for sunset. They even have Dj's some nights and drink specials. The white and tan decor reminds me of a Tulum restaurant.

Alma- This is the spot to visit if you're in the mood for Tapas and great drink specials. Whenever I needed a good meal I knew I could depend on I would go here.

Lolas Cantina- Best taco spot in town, get there early on Tuesdays this place will be packed! The fish & shrimp are my favorite. If you're vegetarian they also have great options so you don't miss out on the taco goodness.

Sayan House Terrace- This place is a bit more on the pricey side but the views and food are worth it. Treat yo self!

Riviera Bistro- Who doesn't love a good pasta dish? If you eat here I highly recommend getting the pasta with clams and a nice glass of white wine. Wine is something I didn't drink much of in Bali so this is where I would treat myself.

Wild Air Ubud- Try coming here around sunset for the best pictures. Great food and yet another great view.

Amok Sunset- This was probably one of the coolest places I ate at during my time in Bali. Its located in Nusa Penida and its not easy to get to on a scooter with the bumpy roads but defiantly worth it. They have three birds nest you can actually eat in, its funny when you need the server you just ring a little bell. Such a cool experience.

Samesa- Sometimes in Bali you want to stay in and order food, especially since Gojek (their version on uber eats) is so cheap. Check out this local place .. its cheap and they have sustainable packaging which is a huge plus!

Johnnys Tacos- I found this place in my last month which I was so sad about. Ran by a local family the girl who took my order was the sweetest! I was in Ulu the next weekend and she ran into me on the beach and said hi. The tacos are massive and you get what you pay for. Located on the side of the road its great for a quick bite and beer.
